 The hotel’s cleanliness, the sanitization, and the safety and well-being of our guests & team members is our top priority! When it comes to your booking with us, worry not. Feel free to ask us anything at any time.

ELaiolithos is professionally managed by its founder/owner, a native-born individual who has also lived in the USA for 37 years. With extensive experience, knowledge, and education, she has walked in travelers’ shoes all her life, and

the following proactive preventative steps about cleanliness, and hygiene standards have been taken: 

1. Our hotel practices meet the latest Covid19 guidance for the continued safety and well-being of our guests. All cleaning materials used in the hotel are effective against COVID-19.
2. Our hotel staff has taken all the seminars given by the Greek Deputy Ministry of Tourism, and by the Greek Chamber of Commerce about good practices of cleaning and disinfection. We all have been trained. Certifications received for:  –*1 New Rules of hygiene & safety for the operation of mass catering companies. –*2 Hygiene & safety rules for the reopening of Hotels & Accommodation.  –*3 New Technologies & Tourism in the Covid-19 period.  –*4 Practical instructions and answers that concern the businesses of hotel units, accommodation and tourist facilities. –*5 The new tourist: analysis of tourist behavior during and after the pandemic. –*6 Additional requirements and new prevention measures for the operation of accommodation in the new era. –*7 Tourism Business Strategies for dealing with the new environment due to the Pandemic. –*8 “Digi.travel Issues & Trends – Travel in the post-covid19 era” by Green Key
3. Our hotel staff is receiving on going briefings and enhanced operating protocols with up to date information to keep them and their families informed, aware and protected throughout this situation.

ELaiolithos’ environment by default is ideal for social distancing.

You need not worry about social distancing. We’re privileged to have a 850 sq.m porch (9,149 sq. ft). ELaiolithos is strategically located in Naxos. Each suite features its own patio furniture, lounge chairs, hammock, and lit marble dining table on the terrace’s edge to enjoy our amazing view. You’ll have ample space to dine, relax, and chat outdoors. Join us for a worry-free socializing experience. Let the good times roll!

The retreat boasts no neighbors,

ensuring complete isolation, vastness, and clear weather. Revel in comfortable, private accommodation in a tranquil rural setting, far removed from the hustle and bustle of tourist crowds.

1. Privacy and tranquility are two elements that define the ideal holiday at ELaiolithos Luxury Retreat.
2. Alcohol-based hand rubs/sanitizers, masks/gloves are provided upon check in.
3. Every suite has its own air purifier.
4. We stress regular hygiene. Check out time will be at 11:00 am. Exquisite cleanliness is of paramount importance.
5. All sheets, pillows, towels, and bathrobes are sterilized by COCOMAT.
6. Every booking has its own blankets cleaned and presented to you for the duration of your staying.
7. Mattress Protectors: For your own safety we have invested in Mattress Protectors that are removable. After check out every protector is changed and replaced with a sterilized one, which means your bed will have a clean new mattress protector just for you to have that clean feel!
8. Disinfection of Beds: Rest assured, you sleep on a clean mattress. We’ve made a significant investment in ensuring cleanliness by vacuuming every mattress with our advanced HEPA filtration system, featuring a specially designed UV Ultra Vac. This system, equipped with an inbuilt UV light, effectively captures virtually anything after every check-out, killing 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, including salmonella, E. coli, and Staphylococcus. Approved by the U.S. Department of Energy, our HEPA filter technology testifies to its supreme rank and reliability in fighting microorganisms.
9. Bathrooms: Our bathrooms are crafted in the old-fashioned cement mortar style, using only natural materials. These walls are made of a 100% eco-friendly and bio-climatic material composed of natural stones, including theraine earth, limestone, quartz sand, and kerammala. This composition creates a smooth texture without pores, making it easy to clean sustainably with eco-friendly materials. We utilize natural, non-toxic cleaning products made from biodegradable ingredients such as vinegar and baking soda. These effectively remove dirt, grime, and bacteria from fixtures, countertops, and mirrors while eliminating soap scum and hard water stains. By incorporating vinegar as a cleaning solution, we ensure a sustainable and healthy environment for our guests. Additionally, we thoroughly sweep the floor before mopping with disinfectant, leaving your bathroom sparkling clean!
10. Area carpets are replaced with clean new ones after every check out.
11. Our housekeeping team meticulously disinfects all frequently touched surfaces in your room as part of our rigorous cleaning procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, knobs, light switches, door handles, and toilets.
12. Our personnel are locals.  
13. Our restaurant serves healthy local cuisine from farm-to-taste buds, we use all natural, regionally-sourced ingredients within a radius of 5 Km, giving you the freshest local food & drinks. We Know the Hen Who Laid the Eggs.
14. For our Food & Beverage outlets, different measures from food preparation to dining experience have been implemented to ensure food hygiene safety.
15. Breakfast is served à la carte.
16. Dining tables and chairs are sanitized with disinfectant, so guests can find a pleasant and safe dining experience at our outdoor lounge café bar.
17. Hand-sanitation stations are placed in public areas on our porch.
