Agios Georgios Naxos Beach

Agios Georgios beach, is just a short walk from Naxos town and the port. Agios Georgios beach has very shallow azure waters, and a long white-sand beach that stretches 3 Km. It’s an organized beach, with plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas, and   lifeguards, making it a favourite beach for the entire family. Agios Georgios beach is suitable for all ages, with shops, cafes, taverns, restaurants, toilets and showers stretching along its length, and beach bars on the sand allow you to enjoy a drink or eat with the sand between your toes. Being close to the town, it gets very crowded though.

Agios Georgios’ beach south part at the end boasts a water sports center that is very popular spot for windsurfing due to the windy conditions and high waves. Windsurfing lessons and equipment are also available for enthusiasts. There are fabulous views of Paros and the sunsets are pretty amazing from here. The area has good accessibility and facilities for AMEA.

Agios Georgios beach gets very extemely busy during the day with beach lovers, and also during the evening because of its numerous bars, tavernas, and restaurants along the front. There is quite a selection of accommodation available as close to, or as far from the town, as you want to be, for all tastes and all budgets at Agios Georgios beach.
